Description

Triteleia laxa Corrina is an elegant blue flowering bulb that brings vibrant colour to gardens from June through July. This upright variety reaches 30-50cm in height and thrives in full sun within sheltered positions. Plant the 5/+ sized tubers 10cm deep with 15cm spacing for optimal growth. Established within the first year, these bulbs are remarkably easy to grow and require minimal gardening experience. They're naturally resistant to mice, deer, and rabbits, making them ideal for wildlife gardens. Versatile and reliable, Triteleia laxa Corrina suits borders, pots, large containers, and cut flower arrangements. The green foliage complements the striking blue blooms, while bee-friendly flowers support pollinators throughout the season.

    FAQ - About Triteleia

Triteleia bulbs are best planted in autumn, between September and November, before the first frost sets in. This gives the bulbs enough time to form roots before winter begins.

As a rule of thumb, plant Triteleia bulbs at a depth of about two to three times their own height. Also allow sufficient spacing between the bulbs, usually 8 to 10 cm, depending on the size of the variety.

Yes, Triteleia grows best in a sunny location, though it also tolerates light shade. It likes well-draining soil and thrives less well in shady, damp conditions.

Yes, Triteleia is a hardy, perennial bulb. Provided it is planted in the right spot and the bulbs don't rot from excess moisture, it will return year after year and may even naturalize and spread on its own.
