Collection: Hyacinthoides

The first description of Hyacinthoides dates back to 1601. The leaves are broad, usually arching, and strap-shaped. The flower heads are rounded and can grow up to 40 cm tall, with about one third of the stem covered in many nodding, colorful bell-shaped flowers. Although they tolerate full sun, their flower color is best displayed in a shaded location. This species is excellent for naturalizing.
