For optimal growth and flowering, this tulip should be planted at a depth of 5 cm, with a planting distance of also 5 cm between the bulbs. The recommended bulb size for this tulip is 6/8. Tulipa orphanidea 'Flava' thrives best in a spot in the garden with partial shade, where it can fully show its cheerful color in the spring.
