De kievitsbloem (Fritillaria persica) 'Purple Dynamite' is een indrukwekkende voorjaarsbloeier met een hoogte van 90 cm. Tijdens de bloeiperiode van maart tot april brengt deze plant een dramatische uitstraling naar de tuin met zijn diep paarse, bijna zwarte bloemen. Het gedijt het beste op een beschutte plek waar het toch blootgesteld wordt aan voldoende zonlicht. Voor optimale groei en bloei wordt een plantdiepte van 15-20 cm aanbevolen, met een ruimere plantafstand van 30 cm tussen de bollen.
