De Iris hollandica 'Carmen' is een elegante bolgewas met lichtroze bloemen die een verfijnde en zachte uitstraling geven aan elke tuin. Deze iris, met een bloemhoogte van 60 tot 70 cm, bloeit prachtig in mei en trekt de aandacht met zijn delicate kleuren.
Voor een optimale groei en bloei moet de Iris hollandica 'Carmen' op een plek in de halfschaduw worden geplant, waar ze bescherming krijgt tegen de volle zon en toch voldoende licht ontvangt. De bollen moeten op een diepte van 6 tot 8 cm in de grond worden geplaatst, met een onderlinge afstand van ongeveer 15 cm.
