Dahlia 'Bishop of Llandaff' is a striking variety with vibrant red flowers that bloom from July to September. This semi-hardy plant grows upright, reaching an established height of 70 cm to 1 meter and a blooming spread of 20-30 cm. Its dark foliage creates a bold contrast against the fiery red blooms. Thriving in full sun or partial shade, this easy-to-grow variety is perfect for a variety of garden styles, including cottage gardens, borders, gravel gardens, and coastal gardens. It’s also ideal for cut flower gardens, large containers, and pots. Plant 3-5 cm deep with 3 tubers per square meter, and place it in sheltered or exposed positions to enjoy a long-lasting and beautiful display throughout the summer.

Plant Dahlia tubers from may to early June in a sunny spot. Place the tuber just below the soil surface with the eye facing up. Space 30–40 cm apart and water lightly.
